Full Time cook
Old Town Bakery is looking for an experienced cook to join our team!
Duties Include
•Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
•Prepare sandwiches, breakfast items, and daily/weekly specials
•General prep and station maintenance
•Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
•Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
•Monitor food inventory
•Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
•Maintain a clean and organized work area
•Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines and follow all menus and recipes provided
Requirements Include
- Fun, positive attitude
- Proven ability to multitask
- Previous cooking experience
- Must be available Fridays/Saturdays
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
part Time Server
Old Town Bakery is looking for an experienced server to join our team!
DUTIES INCLUDE
•Greet and serve customers in a counter service format
•Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea and specialty beverages
•Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
•Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment
•Assist in stocking and replenishing inventory as needed
•Follow food safety standards and procedures
•Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
•Strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively
•Excellent customer service skills to engage with patrons in a friendly manner
Knowledge of food safety guidelines for proper handling of consumables
•Experience in cashiering, food service, or related roles is a plus
•Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
•Willingness to learn and help out in various tasks related to food handling
•Must be available Saturdays.
